The world’s largest all-female expedition to Antarctica, Homeward Bound, is set to tackle Antarctic seas again in February 2018, to raise awareness of the low representation of women in leadership positions in STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mining and Mathematics) and at the leadership table in general.

With an even bigger expedition planned, Homeward Bound co-founder and Australian leadership activist, Fabian Dattner, has gathered 80 new female scientists to take part in the year-long program to develop leadership, strategic and communication capabilities, culminating in a three week voyage to Antarctica. This is all part of a 10 year long plan to network and skill 1,000 women from across the globe.

Mick and Maria spoje with two of the ladies, Justine Barrett and Karen Alexander this-morning about their upcoming journey!

If you can help out, Justine and Karen need to raise funds for the journey. This will help tackle Climate Change and push for equality for women in leadership. More information can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/TeamTassieHB/
