Mr Stink - Live on Stage
Wednesday 19 April and Thursday 20 April
Theatre Royal, Hobart
David Walliams’ award-winning book comes to life on stage for children 6 – 12 years and their adults! “Mr Stink stank. He also stunk. And if it was correct English to say he stinked, then he stinked as well...” It all starts when Chloe, just about the loneliest girl in the world, makes friends with Mr Stink, the local tramp. Sure he smells a bit, but he’s the only person who’s ever been nice to her. So, when Mr Stink needs a place to stay, Chloe decides to hide him in the garden shed.

Targa Tasmania
Monday 24 April - Saturday 29 April
Targa Tasmania is a world class international motorsport event about to enter its 26th Event. This is a tarmac rally that travels over 2000kms with over 40 competitive stages on closed roads for the true motoring enthusiast, catering for up to 300 selected cars approved by invitation. Targa Tasmania's heritage comes from a passionate history dating back to 1906 in Sicily, where the inaugural "Targa Florio" was unveiled. Targa Florio took its name from organizer Vincenzo Florio. Each winner was presented with a plate bearing the Florio family crest. The Italian word for plate is "Targa", hence the name, "Targa". While Targa Florio is no longer a competitive race, every year a pilgrimage still takes place driving the Sicilian Course.
