Hobart sushi brand, Sush, is at risk of closure after the company which owns it entered administration this week.

Sushiforce was placed with Worrells Solvency & Forensic Accountants, which is now weighing up the future of the four businesses, to pay money owed to creditors.

The Tasmanian sushi giant owns two Sush takeaway shops in the Hobart CBD, one on Collins Street and one at Wellington Court.

It also owns restaurant, Sush Track, on the city’s waterfront, and wholesale business, Sushimatic.

At this stage no decisions have been made about the future of the businesses and all four ventures are currently operating as normal.

A creditor meeting will be held on September 24.
