The Reviews are in and are Not All Good for "Monster Hunter"
The history of video games being turned in to movies is generally pretty poor and it seems that the lastest game to transition to the big screen "The Monster Hunter" doesn't escape the curse.
The movie stars Milla Jovovich as Artemis, Tony Jaa as the Hunter, Ron Perlman as Admiral, and T.I. as Link, and is directed by Paul W.S. Anderson.
If it sounds like a familiar cast know that Anderson and Jovovich previously teamed up in the cinematic adaptations of another video game series "Resident Evil".
Not all the reviews are bad, they just don't rate it super high, but what do you expect? It's not "Citizen Kane' it's "Monster Hunter" if it delivers what is in the title, you are in for a fun ride.
Writer/Director Paul W.S. Anderson’s Monster Hunter reminds us how rare good video game movies are, creating a film that breathtakingly takes all the wrong steps.
