Brighton Show

Brighton Show is one of the best little country shows in Tasmania Where you can catch a glimpse of rural life, something for everyone, from young and old. Brighton Show is an event that celebrates all things country, from our country heritage and agriculture to the charms of our top level competitions to the latest in entertainment, the show offers something for everyone.

For many years both city and country folk have been visiting the Show to soak up the sights, sounds and smells of the rural life. The Show offers a unique hands-on learning experience for people of all age groups with free entertainment for the whole family to enjoy as well as animals, amusement rides and side-show alley.

Brighton show is among one of oldest local shows in Tasmania, the first brighton show started at the racecourse in November 1946 then moved on to the Pontville recreation ground a few years later where it is still held today

Brighton Agricultural Show Society have a great crew of volunteers organising the show.
