DiaBuddies Day
Join us for DiaBuddies Day in Dodges Ferry this October!
Diabetes Australia invites you to join us at the upcoming DiaBuddies Day at Blue Lagoon. This is a special event to bring together children living with type 1 diabetes and their families.
Blue Lagoon campsite is nestled in the heart of beautiful Dodges Ferry (35 minutes south east of Hobart) and provides an exciting range of indoor and outdoor activities. Come along to see old friends, make new friends, be challenged and have fun.
You will need to bring all your own diabetes supplies, such as insulin and spare sets, hats, change of clothes (incase they get beach wet).
Supervision: Children are to be supervised by a parent/carer at all times.

Places are limited, and bookings are essential!
Please note that this event is only for children living with type 1 diabetes and members of their immediate family. This is to ensure that as many children living with type 1 diabetes and their families have the opportunity to attend as possible.
Tickets are free for children living with type 1 diabetes and their siblings aged 17 years and under. $10.00 for parents/carers.
This DiaBuddies Day has been made possible through the generous support of Future Generation Australia and Rotary Club of Youngtown.
Travel Vouchers
To help as many families attend this event as possible, the Rotary Club of Youngtown are offering a limited number of $50 fuel vouchers to families who have significant travel costs. If you would like to apply for a fuel voucher, please complete the relevant question in the registration. Please note, you can only apply for one voucher per family.
