Willie Smith’s Mid-Winter Series – Family Fun & Wassail

Location: Willie Smith’s Apple Shed, 2064 Huon Highway, Grove, Tasmania

Celebrate this winter at the apple orchard with the family fun evening to conclude our Mid-Winter series. The night will include a special Wassail, local choirs and the Stranded Wailers to ensure the vocal cords stay warm during the evening. The lawns at The Apple Shed will be set-up for the children with a variety of entertainment, including a sing-along with the Stranded Wailers, Roaming Trees Storytelling, an Apple Pie eating contest, face painting, plus novel apple-themed games. We’ll conclude the night with a Wassail and bush dance to send everyone on their merry way!

$35 adult ticket + $15 children ticket (aged 4-16 years) includes:
Entry to the Family Fun event 
Welcome drink for the adults and a warm hot chocolate for the kids 
Wassail 
Singalong 
Bush Dance 

Children aged 3 and under are free of charge.

Please note there will be optional activities at this event for children that will have additional costs, we aim to keep these at a minimum and accommodate as many families as we can, but extra cash or EFT would be handy to have on the day.  
*The ticket price does not include catering options: we will have various food stalls around the Apple Shed, Barn area and grounds to ensure all can find something to enjoy. This will include the famous Willie Smith’s Apple Pie, toffee apples plus s’mores and our famous toasties and burgers to keep the big kids fed!
