Heritage & Bullock Festival

The Heritage & Bullock Festival is an annual festival that is held on the 2nd weekend of August each year in Oatlands.

It’s a celebration of our shared heritage and the bullocks offers a fascinating insight into agriculture traditions, showcasing activities that were an integral part of village life.

This year they’re incorporating the market into a Festival; this is important to ensure that they engage stallholders and ensure that products sold at the market reflect genuine aspect of history and culture and avoiding items that feel mass-produced or disconnected from local heritage.
