TERRAPLANE AND THE HUDSON HORNS
We’re thrilled to welcome Terraplane and the Hudson Horns to West Winds Community Centre for an afternoon of music that will have you on your feet! Based in Hobart, this dynamic band has been delivering their unique blend of blues, jazz, and swing for over three decades, and their sound just keeps getting better.
About the Band: Terraplane has its roots deep in the blues, with founders Patrick Tilley (vocals, harmonica, sax, guitar) and Michael Davie (lead guitar) leading the charge since 1990. Over the years, the band has evolved, especially with the addition of the Hudson Horns – Greg Stanton (tenor sax) and Bradley Stow (trumpet, flugelhorn), bringing a bigger, funkier, and swingier sound that explores new areas of blues and jazz.
Terraplane and the Hudson Horns are sure to bring a vibrant energy to the stage. Their performances have rocked venues across Tasmania and beyond, including the Southern Blues Music Festival, Hot August Jazz, The Longford Blues Festival, and even the Hard Rock Hotel in Bali.
