Montrose Bay Yacht Club Opening Day
Montrose Bay Yacht Club have teamed up with Australian Sailing – Tasmania and are getting ready for the biggest and best opening day yet!
You’ll be able to try your hand at dinghy sailing with our qualified instructors on the day, check out the amazing radio-controlled boats and also meet the local Dragon Boat paddlers.
There will also be stand-up paddleboards you can take for a quick spin, prizes to win thanks to the team at Peter Johnston Ship Chandlers, and in the afternoon, you’ll be able to watch the boats go head-to-head in the Opening Day Trophy Race
Marine and Safety Tasmania – MAST will also be here, talking all things boat safety, and you’ll be able to register for your motor boat license course on the day.
The BBQ will be on, and the canteen will be open, so the whole family can enjoy a day on the foreshore.
So pack a picnic rug, pack the kids, and head on down for a great day by the water.
