Psychology in the Pub: The Psychology of Psychopathy

In today’s society there is a fascination with psychopaths, how they are formed, and what drives them to engage in the criminal behaviour which so often misaligns with the concept of what it is to be human. Psychopathy is characterised by persistent antisocial behaviour without empathy or remorse. However, do you actually know how to spot a psychopath or understand the psychology behind this behaviour? If not, or you would like to learn more, come along to Psychology in the Pub: The Psychology of Psychopathy to find out what makes a psychopath tick, as well as to debunk common misconceptions about psychopathy.

This talk is part of a series of “Psychology in the Pub” presentations, where psychologists present on a range of interesting and engaging topics related to mental health and psychological issues. Emma and Jess look forward to welcoming you to a fun and relaxing afternoon of learning!
