Walk Against Elder Abuse
One in six people in Australia experience elder abuse.
Elder abuse is a violation of human rights, it can include physical, sexual, psychological and emotional abuse, financial and material abuse, abandonment, or neglect.
Show your support for the older people in your community by taking part in the Lifelong Respect Wear Purple campaign and the Walk against Elder Abuse on Friday, 14 June at 9.45am.
The walk starts at Elisabeth Street Mall and ends at Mathers house where there will be light refreshments, and a series of speeches.
