The Weather Bureau's Debbie Tabor says bushwalkers should pick another day, with snow down to 600 metres.
"Showers in most areas, but particularly in the western, central and southern areas and the Bass Strait Islands will continue today, light in the northeast and east; there's also some hail likely in those showers and thunderstorms for the west and south," she said.
