A 40 year old man’s been treated in hospital in Hobart for a gunshot to his hand suffered in a carjacking that started at Rosny Hill around 10am today (Friday).
Two car-jackers drove the car with him still inside to Rose Bay when a scuffle resulted in a gun firing.
The victim ran off, while Acting Inspector Rick Newman explains the accused then drove away.

“It’s a white Volkswagen Golf L59PA, whilst we don’t think there’s any greater threat to members of the public we ask them if they see that vehicle to call it in and not to approach, bearing in mind that one of the offenders we believe is armed.”
