A group of three trail bikers have been rescued in the Dial Ranges this morning.
The men aged 26 and 24, and a child aged 11 became lost after one of their motor bikes broke down and they were not able to be contacted.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was dispatched and the trio was spotted with their vehicle in the vicinity of Mount Gnomon. Police entered the area on foot and the trio was located and returned to their family a short time later; they were all uninjured.
Acting Sergeant Kendall Buckley would like to remind members of the public to be prepared and to let family know their intended destination and to carry a personal locator beacon when mobile phone reception is unreliable.
