Police are continuing the hunt for a Clarendon Vale man who ran off from sentencing in Hobart Magistrates Court on Wednesday afternoon.
Officers swooped on the waterfront, searching fish punts and boats in a bid to track down the absconder while a helicopter hovered overhead.
30-year-old Bodie Savage (pictured) has been spotted around the city, waterfront and Battery Point and isn’t considered dangerous.
He was wearing grey track pants and black shoes but discarded a black hooded top.
Sightings can be reported anonymously to Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.
The hunt is also continuing for Glenfern gunman Robert George Greig after intensive efforts around Brighton and Elderslie on Wednesday proved fruitless.
The 33-year-old is suspected of firing multiple shots at police vehicles on Monday night and shouldn’t be approached.
