Tasmania’s airports are gearing up for a busy start to the school holidays – Tasmanians set to jet off interstate.
Hobart Airport expecting more than one hundred and thirty thousand passengers during the two weeks – the main demand expected to be those travelling to and from Melbourne, with the Hobart to Brisbane route proving popular enough for additional flights to be added.
Travellers are encouraged to check their flight details with their airline before leaving home, book parking online to secure a spot, and allow a little extra time to get through security screening and find their gate.
