Premier Jeremy Rockliff is thanking staff that have operated our State-run vaccination clinics ahead of their closure tomorrow.
At the peak of the vaccination rollout in October 2021, there were 69 State-run clinics in operation across Tasmania, and about 960 nurses working.
In Tasmania, there have been more than 1.4 million COVID-19 vaccinations delivered to people aged 5 and over.
Of these, almost half have been provided at no cost in State-run vaccination clinics.
From Wednesday 31 August, the State-run vaccination clinics will close and the primary health sector will be the first point of call for vaccination delivery in Tasmania.
