Amazon MGM Studios has just dropped the trailer for its highly anticipated action thriller series, Countdown, starring Jensen Ackles, best known for his roles in Supernatural and The Boys.

This 13-episode drama, created by Derek Haas (One Chicago), kicks off with a shocking murder in broad daylight. LAPD officer Mark Meachum (Ackles) is soon recruited into a secret task force made up of undercover agents from multiple law enforcement branches. Together, they uncover a sinister plot threatening the city, forcing the team to put aside personal differences to save the day.
The series features a stellar cast, including Jessica Camacho, Eric Dane, Elliot Knight, Violett Beane, and Uli Latukefu. Countdown will be available exclusively on Amazon Prime Video, with the first three episodes premiering on June 25th. New episodes will release weekly after that.
