Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Movies have released the teaser trailer and first poster for “The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants,” the latest CG animated film in the iconic SpongeBob SquarePants franchise.
The movie follows SpongeBob on a hilarious and action-packed seafaring adventure as he tries to prove his bravery to Mr. Krabs. Determined to impress, SpongeBob takes on the challenge of following The Flying Dutchman, a ghostly pirate, into uncharted waters. Along the way, he ventures into the deepest depths of the ocean, places no Sponge has ever explored before.
The star-studded voice cast includes Tom Kenny (SpongeBob), Clancy Brown, Rodger Bumpass, Bill Fagerbakke, Carolyn Lawrence, Mr. Lawrence, George Lopez, Ice Spice (Isis Gaston), Arturo Castro, Sherry Cola, Regina Hall, and Mark Hamill.
Directed by Derek Drymon, with a screenplay by Pam Brady and Matt Lieberman, the film is produced by Pam Brady, Aaron Dem, and Lisa Stewart. Rated PG, the movie features plenty of laugh-out-loud moments, some thematic elements, mild language, and the classic SpongeBob humor fans love.
