One of Australia’s most attended music festivals will not go ahead this year so it can “rest, recover and recalibrate”.
Falls Festival announced via Instagram that their annual festivals in Melbourne, Byron Bay and Fremantle will not go ahead this year.
This is the third time the event has been cancelled in the last fours years after battling through the pandemic.
Their post says “After an impressive 28 years ringing in the New Year with some of the world’s biggest acts, the Falls team are today switching on their OOOs and taking this New Years’ season off to rest, recover and recalibrate”.
The exact reason for the cancellations are unclear but it comes only 2 months out from the festivals intended start date.
