Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt have just welcomed their first baby to the world via a photo released on Instagram. The pair announced the news earlier this year in July that they were expecting a baby. They had only made their relationship known earlier this year in March. But most notably about the birth announcement is the nod to Pete’s father Scott Davidson. Tragically, Pete’s father Scott, was killed during the September 11th terrorist attacks in 2001. Davidson speaks often about the day and how it affected his life and how much he misses his father. Their new baby girl has been named Scottie Rose Hewitt.

Davidson has expressed in previous years how he has always dreamt of being a father and has since remarked that with his daughter on the way that “everything else doesn’t really matter”.
