The market is held on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month for the whole year.

In fact, the Cygnet Market is one of only a few markets that go through the winter in the comfort of the locally iconic Town hall complete with live music.

A few times a year we also hold double markets, when we fill TWO halls with stalls, and even more live music from local musicians. Details at

Our market is growing, from 3 stalls 4 years ago we now have about 30 on a regular basis and 60 at the double markets. The market starts at 10 AM and goes till 2 PM allowing ample time to enjoy local eateries before or after, as well as other Huon Valley attractions.
