Located in the beautiful and historic village of Richmond in Tasmania, just 25 minutes’ drive from Hobart.

Visit in the picturesque village of Richmond, enjoy local history, view historic buildings, eat or buy delicious foods and see amazing local craft, created by talented Tasmanians. The market is held every Saturday 9am – 3pm in the village Town Hall and surrounding areas. Hold a stall yourself, or come and see what we have to offer. The Market has been developed to give local producers in the Coal River Valley and surrounding areas a place to sell their produce and artisan items. It is also intended to provide a source of fresh foods and other items to locals and tourists, thus promoting the region and encouraging people to visit the Richmond and Coal River Valley region.

All profits from the market will be 100% re-invested into the community and promoting the region.

The market is managed by volunteers of the Richmond and Coal River Valley Promotions Group.
